Tell me why ...
... does it take longer to drink a pint of beer than two halves? Does anyone have a scientific explanation (or even an unscientific one, come to that)?

oh yes yes yes
halves are so much faster Put a pint in front of me and sip sip, oh there is only a drop left, might as well tidy that up. A pint sip sip and put it down, lokk at it it and reflect.
The scientific explanation?
